Elmsford, N.Y. — The Jonard Tools Compact Cable Slit and Ring Tools are versatile and are about the size of a clothespin, making them perfect to use in cramped spaces.
The CSR-125, Compact Cable Slit & Ring Tool, (0 - 0.125"), and the CSR-250, Compact Cable Slit & Ring Tool, (0.125" - 0.250") can open buffer tubes and jackets on fiber optic cables with ease.
The blades on each tool can be adjusted with a simple turn of a screw, can perform both slitting and ringing functions, and are designed with spring-loaded handles.
These versatile cabling tools can slit and ring 1/8" and 7/32" diameter cables including COAX such as RG 174 and RG 187, and electrical cables that are similar in size.
When the time comes, we also have replacement blades for either of these cable-slitting tools. The CSR-125-RB, Replacement Blade Set comes with blades that will fit both the CSR-125 and the CSR-250.
